Spotless Punch Limited - new business entity to drive growth in the UK - October 2008

On 1st October 2008, the integration of Spotless UK, Dylon International and Punch Industries was completed. The newly created entity with the head office in Redhill and the specialist division in Northampton will drive growth in the UK

The grocery business based in Redhill will drive growth within the major supermarkets and the specialist business based in Northampton will focus on growth with specialist retailers - garden centres, shoe retailers, etc.

Spotless Group acquires Dylon International Ltd in the UK - June 2008

Founded in 1946 in the UK, Dylon's focus is on fabric dyes and household products (and under Dylon, Lord Sheraton and Oust brands).

'This acquisition is a perfect fit for the two companies' - says Pierre Le Tanneur, Spotless Group's CEO - 'Dylon International's presence and strength in the UK allows Spotless Group to accelerate its development and credibility in that relevant country and to become the second player in the fabric care market. Dylon International's outreach will benefit the presence of Spotless Group's brands, in other countries. Furthermore, most of Dylon brands are highly respected by consumers for their specific innovation qualities'.

The Dylon brand in the UK is the market leader for fabric dyes. Within the fabric care segment, it is popular for its whiteners, colour run removers, stain removers and ironing aids. In the household segment, Oust (all purpose de-scaler and limescale remover) and Lord Sheraton (quality wipes and sprays for leather, wood, metal and glass) are two of its key brands.
